Massage Healthcare of America Inc. is a home-based service in Clark County, Nevada, Mobile Lymphatic & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Service, Physician‑ Prescribed focused on complex surgical, oncology, and chronic pain cases, not spa or relaxation services (although we do provide spa services as well). We routinely manage medically involved patients recommended and prescribed by surgeons, oncologists, and other providers who require structured soft‑tissue and lymphatic care integrated into their overall treatment plan.

 

Unlike most “lymphatic LMTs” in the industry who focus on aesthetic treatments such as body contouring, tummy tuck, 360, or BBL recovery, Massage Healthcare of America (MHA) operates exclusively within the medical lane. We are not a wellness or relaxation clinic, and our primary focus is on clinical recovery and functional outcomes, not cosmetic enhancement.

While spas cater primarily to healthy individuals, our practice serves those referred by physicians across Clark County who require specialized therapeutic and lymphatic care. In short, we’re a rare group; true unicorns in the field but we are growing. Our core clinical focus includes oncology and cancer‑related surgeries such as pelvic lymph node dissection, parotidectomy, mastectomy, lymphadenectomy, and axillary lymph node dissection, as well as patients undergoing multimodal cancer care. We also treat individuals recovering from spinal and orthopedic procedures including arthrodesis (spinal fusion), post‑laminectomy syndrome, spondylopathy, and hemiarthroplasty.

 

Beyond surgery, we work with neuropathic and musculoskeletal conditions involving nerve compression or tissue stress, including neuropathy, cervical radiculopathy, and thoracic outlet decompression. We address complex soft‑tissue and fluid‑related issues such as myofascial pain conditions, orthopedic‑related fluid retention, implant‑related complications, and plastic surgery cases involving breast implants, including implant contracture and explant due to breast implant illness.

Every episode of care begins with a structured clinical intake focused on surgical history, oncology status, relevant imaging and diagnostics, medication profile, functional impairments, and risk factors such as lymphedema or compromised lymphatic territories. Treatment plans are customized to support wound healing, edema management, pain modulation, range‑of‑motion restoration, and healthy return to function, with coordinated communication to referring providers when appropriate. We perform medical lymphatic for oncology/chronic disease/post-cancer surgery: long-term decongestive therapy, staging assessments (fibrosis, pitting, node status), integration with compression/exercise/skin care, progress reports to surgeons/oncologists, and insurance justification via medical necessity. It's true clinic-level, not aesthetic. 

Massage Healthcare of America does not provide spa, relaxation, or cosmetic “pampering” services under insurance coverage. Our role is to deliver targeted manual lymphatic drainage and medical massage therapy within a healthcare framework, guided by advanced clinical training and adherence to safety and contraindication protocols. However, our therapists are highly skilled and clinically trained to manage aesthetic or post‑cosmetic lymphatic cases such as body sculpting, tummy tuck, and BBL recovery. These services are available on a cash‑pay basis only, separate from covered medical care. While we can also offer select spa‑style treatments for FSA/HSA clients, our foundational mission remains improving health, healing, and function through medically necessary massage therapy.

As an in‑network provider with Aetna, Banner Health, Unicare, Cigna Healthcare-Choose Healthy, and American Specialty Health. Pending with, Humana, OPTUM-United Healthcare, Medicaid and TriWest, MHA offers patients an accessible, evidence‑based pathway to therapeutic recovery, distinct from cosmetic or spa‑based practices.

Each was hand-selected either for exceptional clinical skill or for their strong commitment to fully transition out of the spa industry into a 100% clinical practice.

 

Every LMT on our team completes a rigorous application process followed by advanced training inspired by the classic Dr. Vodder School International methods of the 1980s, time-tested techniques that are rarely taught today. Each therapist is required to hold full clinical healthcare credentials and earn the title of Credentialed Manual Medicine Specialist while pursuing certification as a Lymphatic Specialist before treating patients. Many of the individuals we serve present with complex or medically fragile conditions, requiring the highest level of skill and precision.

Massage Healthcare of America Inc. has a uniquely qualified massage team as some of our Licensed Massage Therapists have completed a 4‑year university degree in kinesiology, giving them a stronger understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, neuromuscular physiology, and human movement than your common massage therapists. They always work within the legal scope of massage therapy as fully trusted and empowered to handle serious, medically necessary musculoskeletal problems, including complex post‑surgical and chronic pain cases. Because of their kinesiology training, they are better able to evaluate how a person moves, develop focused treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians and rehabilitation teams so that massage care fits smoothly into the patient’s overall recovery and performance goals.

 

ALL of our Licensed Massage Therapists are individually in-network with major insurance companies and listed in provider directories. TriWest, Medicaid, United Healthcare and Anthem BCBS credentialing pending. This means that if you have a medical diagnosis and massage is medically necessary, you can often use your insurance for care, and each therapist bills directly under their own credentials as an independent healthcare provider.
