How We Accept Most Insurance

This statement was last updated on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  Patients can use their insurance when they have a diagnosed, medically necessary condition and a prescription from a licensed provider that clearly states their diagnosis. We treat a wide range of serious problems under insurance, including oncology and cancer‑related surgeries (such as pelvic lymph node dissection, parotidectomy, mastectomy, lymphadenectomy, and axillary lymph node dissection), multimodal cancer care, spinal and orthopedic procedures (arthrodesis/spinal fusion, post‑laminectomy syndrome, spondylopathy, hemiarthroplasty), neuropathic and musculoskeletal conditions (neuropathy, cervical radiculopathy, thoracic outlet decompression), and complex soft‑tissue and fluid‑related issues (myofascial pain, orthopedic‑related fluid retention, implant‑related complications, and plastic surgery cases involving breast implants, contracture, and explant due to breast implant illness). Once a valid prescription and diagnosis are on file, our individually credentialed Licensed Massage Therapists, each in‑network with Aetna and listed in the Aetna provider directory, with TriWest and Medicaid credentialing in progress, bill directly under their own credentials as independent healthcare providers. Insurance is reserved for this medically necessary manual lymphatic drainage and medical massage, not for general spa or relaxation services, though we can still offer spa‑style treatments separately for FSA/HRA clients.

A Quality Over Quantity Group of LMTs

We may be a small group, but we’re thoroughly educated, clinically skilled, and prepared to handle complex musculoskeletal and post‑surgical cases. We thrive on challenging work because it gives us the opportunity to make a real difference for patients facing serious medical conditions.

Our clinical expertise covers a wide spectrum of medically necessary care under insurance, including oncology and cancer‑related surgeries (pelvic lymph node dissection, parotidectomy, mastectomy, lymphadenectomy, axillary lymph node dissection), multimodal cancer recovery, and advanced spinal and orthopedic procedures (arthrodesis/spinal fusion, post‑laminectomy syndrome, spondylopathy, hemiarthroplasty). We also manage neuropathic and complex musculoskeletal conditions (neuropathy, cervical radiculopathy, thoracic outlet decompression) along with soft‑tissue and fluid‑related complications, from myofascial pain and orthopedic‑related edema to implant‑related fibrosis and breast reconstruction or explant cases involving breast implant illness (BII).

Each of our healthcare providers is credentialed and trusted by major insurance companies. Insurance coverage is reserved exclusively for medically necessary manual lymphatic drainage and medical massage, not general relaxation or spa services. However, we do offer optional spa‑style treatments separately for clients using FSA or HRA benefits.

Policy Regarding Insurance & Medical Necessity

To uphold the integrity of our practice and maintain compliance with insurance provider regulations, we have implemented a strict verification policy for all massage therapy services not billed under a physician’s NPI that are submitted for insurance reimbursement. This is the first instance of its kind in which massage therapy services not associated with a doctor are held to their own independent verification standards.

Required Documentation

Before treatment for an insurance claim can begin, clients must provide both the following:

  • A formal prescription from a licensed physician (MD).

  • A detailed medical report outlining the clinical necessity for massage therapy.

Our Stance on Compliance

We hold a zero-tolerance policy regarding insurance fraud. Per insurance industry standards, requesting reimbursement for services without documented medical necessity, or attempting to circumvent these requirements, is considered a fraudulent act.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who declines to provide the required medical documentations for medically necessary therapy billed to insurance.

  • Professional Integrity: As licensed professionals, we will not assist, document, or bill for services that do not meet legal and ethical insurance guidelines.

Note: This policy is in place to protect our therapists, our clients, and the healthcare system. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a high standard of professional care.
